WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?

This certification (two courses) is designed for people that take responsibility for improving delivery of products and services to customers of their professional service business. It is strongly recommended for Team Leads and Managers who are responsible for creating a high performance work environment, managers who want to transform their delivery systems, Scrum Masters and Project Managers who need to know how to improve the systems their Agile and Scrum teams work within.

If you have been using Agile techniques or Scrum for years, this course is a valuable supplement that addresses many common challenges you are likely experiencing.

If you are considering or currently using Kanban, this is a great opportunity to learn about the core practices of Kanban, how Kanban can help your team work better together, and how to increase predictability for your team and organization by designing and managing a system of effective work management.

See the respective Learning Objectives for each of the two classes:

No prerequisite formal training or certification required, however prior experience leading, managing, or working on an Agile team would be beneficial.

Successful completion of the Team Kanban Practitioner® (TKP) class would be beneficial, as would other complementary Agile certifications such as Registered Scrum Master® (RSM) or Registered Product Owner® (RPO).

Here are some recommended learning suggestions for before the class:

Completion of the following 2 courses (in the order listed). We recommend leaving at least a month between the two classes so you may apply the learnings from the first class before attending the second class.
